Build Those Business Relationships with JBN

The Jewish Business Network, an affinity group of Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, invites you our next Morning Meeting, slated for Wednesday, June 21, starting at 7:30am at the Katz JCC.

The meeting is sponsored by Phil Godorov of Godorov & Nesevich LLC.  He'll be speaking about ways to protect yourself and your loved ones in light of NJ's changing estate planning laws.

As always, come prepared to showcase yourself and/or your company with the group and enjoy a complimentary breakfast courtesy of our sponsor! It is free for Jewish Business Network members and job seekers.  Non-members are welcome to attend one meeting to see what we are all about at no cost!

Prevent Harmful Cuts to Jewish Social Services

The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) is asking everyone to unite to prevent harmful cuts to healthcare. The Senate is putting forward a bill that would replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Like the American Health Care Act (ACHA) that recently passed the House of Representatives, reports indicate the developing Senate bill is likely to include significant cuts and changes to Medicaid.

These changes would severely hinder Jewish social service agencies, such as our Jewish Family & Children’s Service and Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service, and their ability to provide needed services to seniors, low-income community members, people with disabilities, and women - the most vulnerable in our community.

The Senate could vote before the July 4th weekend. Healthcare should not be a partisan issue. Urge your Senators to do due diligence in ensuring that changes in policy do not hurt those in need.

Act Now - Sign the Petition and urge Senators to do due diligence in ensuring that changes in policy do not hurt those in need. Rally your family and friends by circulating the petition to your emails lists and social media networks. Urge your family, friends, and contacts to sign their names. Signatures needed by June 24, 2017!
