Dr. Ragland was appointed as the MIC3 State Commissioner for the State of Alabama by Governor Robert Bentley on 16 March, 2017. Commissioner Ragland is a retired school superintendent after serving 34 years in education.
Approximately 13,000 active duty U.S. military members are stationed across New England, with 3,159 based here in Rhode Island, according to the latest figures from the Department of Defense. Their dedication to ensuring the nation’s security creates a conflict with a central responsibility of parenthood: ensuring their children’s access to consistent and high-quality education.

RADFORD HIGH - COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS REPORT (CCRI)

Radford High is a standout in this year's College and Career Readiness Indicators report (CCRI). Students take and pass Advanced Placement (AP) exams, graduate high school and enroll in college at higher rates than the state. Read the story here.
CCRI reports are an annual collaboration between the Department and the University of Hawaii, coordinated by Hawai'i P-20 Partnerships for Education, to present information on how well Hawaii public school graduates are prepared for college.

Should you wish to recognize an individual for any noteworthy contribution in support of the Commission and its Mission we have outlined a process by which this can be submitted. All cases are required to be processed via the State Commissioner or their official representative. In the event a state is without one, nominations may be forwarded to the national office for consideration.

TRANSFERS DURING SENIOR YEAR
Rule 4.103
There may be cases in which a military student transferring at the beginning or during his or her senior year is ineligible to graduate from the receiving LEA after all alternatives have been considered. In such cases the sending and receiving LEA’s shall ensure the receipt of a diploma from the sending LEA, if the student meets the graduation requirements of the sending LEA.
