The Rochester District Golf Association is pleased to announce that RDGA Members with an active USGA GHIN Handicap can now sign up to play in events on the 2018 RDGA Tournament Schedule!
And for non-members, to enter an RDGA Tournament, a player must become a member of an official RDGA Member Club ( CLICK HERE to see a list of RDGA Member Clubs) - OR, join the RDGA eClub, which is open to ALL golfers, male or female, who do not hold membership at a RDGA Member Club. All skill levels are welcome. Junior golfers ages 17 or younger may join the Junior RDGA eClub at no cost!

Monroe Golf Club
, to the FIVE scheduled RDGA Play Days - and everything in between - the
2018 RDGA Tournament Schedule
features something for EVERY golfer, from high handicappers to scratch golfers, men and women, juniors and seniors.
The
2018 RDGA Tournament Schedule
begins on April 30 at Ridgemont Country Club with the first of five Play Days - casual competitions open to men and women and flighted based on USGA GHIN Handicaps - and concludes just over five months later with the year's fifth RDGA Play Day at Irondequoit Country Club on October 1. From start to finish, there are 25 events on this year's schedule.
Once again, there are three USGA Local and Sectional Qualifiers on our Tournament Schedule for 2018 - a U.S. Open Local Qualifier, a U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier and a U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifier - however, registration for these events must be completed through the
USGA.org
website.
Registration for ALL RDGA tournaments opens TODAY, February 15
, and closes one week before the scheduled date of each event. AND, as a reminder, in order to register, players MUST COMPLETE the FREE Tournament Player Profile through the USGA Tournament Management system.

RDGA DELEGATE FOR 2018!
You like playing in
RDGA Tournaments. You have a
USGA Handicap Index through the
RDGA. Perhaps you are interested in supporting the
local golf community.
If you can identify with any of these phrases, then YOU might be a perfect candidate to become an RDGA Club Delegate for the 2018 season!
Right now, several RDGA Member Clubs are looking to fill their rosters for male and female RDGA Delegates for the upcoming golf season. RDGA Delegates fill an important role in the local golfing community, acting as a liaison between their club and the RDGA. RDGA Club Delegates have a strong interest in growing the game of golf and member participation in golf related events. Delegates collaborate with the RDGA and their club regarding tournaments, clinics,special events and other golf related activities.
