To be included in the March mailing, all we need is 700 copies of your flyer and payment in our office by Friday, March 9 - we take care of the rest!

APBOT ED Presents Member Priorities to Finance Minister Sousa at Pre-Budget Consultation
On February 1, APBOT Executive Director Chrystine Langille attended an in-person pre-budget consultation session with the Minister of Finance Ontario, Minister Sousa.  She highlighted key member priorities including transportation and broadband infrastructure to support major employment opportunities in West Durham, the need for offsets in the budget to mitigate the unintended impact of the too much too fast roll out of Bill 148 employment changes - estimated have put up to 185,000 jobs in jeopardy - and the need for continued proactive education, resources and funds to support workplaces in achieving the positive benefits associated with addressing mental health in the workplace. Click here  to read the full submission.
Ontario Chamber Network Launches Vote Prosperity Letter Writing Campaign
APBOT, in partnership with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) and Ontario Chamber Network, launched a province-wide campaign o n February 13 urging businesses to encourage their local provincial candidates to support the Vote Prosperity election platform. Ontario to Launch Small Business Access Portal
Ontario is launching Small Business Access, a variety of new services to help small business owners access the necessary tools, resources and funding to start and grow their business - for instance, access to government services to get the support their business needs.

Thanks for Attending Networking Breakfast at Costco on Feb 13
On February 13, more than 60 members joined at Costco Wholesale in Ajax for a morning of networking and great food.  At this networking event, attendees enjoyed a combination of informal and formal networking,  complimentary breakfast, a  shared display table for their marketing materials, and were  entered into three business card draws.  Visit our Facebook Page  for more photos.

Grand Opening: Sharleez Bridal
On February 10, Sharleez Bridal celebrated the Grand Opening of its new location in Pickering. The official ribbon cutting was initiated by acting Mayor Kevin Ashe. APBOT Corporate Secretary Jacquelynn Tanner presented the Letter of Congratulations, and Iris Nicolaison was asked to say a few words by owner Shar Thangaraj.
