Scheduled for Sunday and Monday, March 25-26, 2018, these conversations feature CEOs from national partner organizations and prominent business and industry leaders. These speakers are just a few of the more than 200 presenters, panelists, and contributors scheduled to share their expertise and insight at The Forum 2018.

What factors are creating the need to think differently about human talent development, and how should we navigate the ever-changing technologies that are used to connect, communicate and train workers? What innovative strategies should workforce leaders should consider in telling their stories? How can workforce organizations build more effective partnerships and increase connections with industries that are undergoing significant change?  NAWB is excited to announce that the senior leaders from our four organizational partners who are hosting the Sunday afternoon ChangeMaker Assemblies will join NAWB's President & CEO Ron Painter and diversity and inclusion expert Jennifer Brown on stage for a robust and thought-provoking panel discussion following Brown's keynote address. The panel's discussion will unpack the issues that serve as both barriers and opportunities to workforce leaders as they strive to address and become the economic engine for their community and state.

U.S. workforce boards are working across all industry sectors to fuel talent that meets the needs of business. A recent NAWB survey showed that 97% of boards have sector initiatives in health care, and 93% have initiatives with manufacturing. Join business leaders from these and other sectors to gain deeper insights into the complex challenge of identifying the profile of workers needed both today and in the future, and learn the approaches they are taking to recruit and hire workers that can meet the changing dynamics and requirements in the workplace.  The panelists will offer insights into how and with whom they are partnering to meet the shifting workplace needs and provide their thoughts on how workforce development boards can engage with business in this evolving environment.
