Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas

In April, the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas successfully hosted the second annual Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator training in North Carolina with 73 professionals attending.

Participants were enthusiastic in their responses, giving presenter Kent Hoffman and the entire four-day program an average rating of 4.8 (on a scale of 1 to 5). Comments below.

Participants will offer COSP groups to parents along the entire socioeconomic spectrum. The Center awarded four scholarships to mental health professionals working for North Carolina non-profit organizations serving disadvantaged families.

Many people worked to make this training program a success. We thank our inspiring teacher, Kent Hoffman, our staff members, Lisa Long and Kerry Waite, our volunteers, Sharon Merrill, Amanda Klein and Barbara Still, and our partner, Evette Horton at UNC Horizons.

We are pleased to announce that the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas will sponsor COSP training again in 2018. Watch for an announcement of 2018 dates soon!
