Baby Shower for
Spiritually Adopted Babies

The Respect Life Committee will be holding a "Baby Shower" on Father's Day weekend for our Spiritually Adopted Babies, which many members of our parish adopted back in October. Families gave the babies a name, and have been praying for them and for all unborn babies every day since then. We have also been learning about their development each month in the bulletins. The Spiritually Adopted Babies are now about to be "born" and we would like to show our love and respect for life by inviting those who have adopted the babies and anyone in the parish to bring unwrapped baby gifts on Father's Day weekend and place them on the Respect Life table in back of the church. We will donate them to Wakota Life-Care Center.
Items most in need:
Size 2T, 3T clothes, Diapers all sizes, pull-ups, Baby wipes, lotion and soap, Baby bath towels, Newborn socks, Maternity clothes, & gift cards (Cub, Target, or Walmart). Thank you for your spiritual adoption of the babies and for your daily prayers, acknowledging your love for life!

Thank You for your Service to St. Joseph School!

With a thankful heart for their service at St. Joseph School, we announce that Terri Joseph and Joyce Quy will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2016-2017 school year.

Mrs. Joseph has taught at St. Joseph School for 29 years.
She writes that "I have very much enjoyed working with our dedicated staff and our wonderful students and their parents." Mrs. Joseph began teaching middle school math at St. Joseph School in 1988. She took on the role of full-time 6th grade teacher in 1990, and has also coached our 5th and 6th grade Math Masters teams for 25 years.
We wish you the best, Mrs. J!

Mrs. Quy has worked at St. Joseph School for 31 years as a vo lunteer coordinator and First Grade Aide. She began as a school volunteer in the early 80's and soon after began to coordinate our volunteer program and work as the first grade aide. Mrs. Quy writes that "It has been an honor and a privilege to work with all of our teachers and staff in forming our students into well-educated, faith-filled, young adults." Congrats on your retirement, Mrs. Quy!

Please extend your congratulations and gratitude to Terri Joseph and Joyce Quy for their service to St. Joseph School! As a school community, we will honor Mrs. Joseph and Mrs. Quy at our closing of school Mass on June 1st.
