Earn Money For Summer Camp With Camp Cards
The Camp Card sale is underway, but it's not too late to earn money for camp! Scouts earn $2.50 for every Camp Card sold. Money can be used towards camp fees, equipment, uniforms or other Scout gear! (Cool prize alert: Each scout selling 50 or more cards receives a patch. Each scout selling 200 or more cards receives a $25 Scout Shop gift card. Plus, top two sellers in the Council will receive a Samsung Tablet.)
Wood Badge Informational Dinner
Ever wonder what Wood Badge Training involves or why it's considered one of the best training courses in the Boy Scouts of America? Get your questions answered and learn all about our upcoming Wood Badge Course during an informational dinner at Beaumont Scout Reservation on Feb. 26.
College Of Commissioner Science
Registration for the College of Commissioner Science on March 3 at Fox High School is now live. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Hear from keynote speaker Kandra Dickerson, Central Region Commissioner, and choose from dozens of classes for your Commissioner degree.
Den Chief Training
A den chief is a Boy Scout who assists a Cub Scout den leader at meetings and other Scouting events while  mentoring Cub Scouts and acquainting them with the world of Boy Scouting. The next Den Chief Training takes place on Saturday, March 24 at Beaumont Scout Reservation. This course is perfect for enthusiastic Scouts who desire a leadership role and are interested in working with younger Scouts.

  • STEM University: This is the last week to sign up for STEM University at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Feb. 24! Cub Scouts can earn the Earth Science Down & Dirty NOVA. Boy Scouts choose from a variety of STEM-based merit badges and NOVAS, including Automotive Maintenance, Aviation, and Weather.  
  • Radical Robotics: All youth ages 7-13 are invited to Lindenwood University on March 10. Participants will learn basic robotics by building and testing their own robot that they get to take home! Our new robot, the T4 Transforming Solar Robot, can be built four different ways and is totally solar powered.
  • Boy Scout NOVA Day: Join experts at the Saint Louis Science Center on March 17 to earn the Let it Grow NOVA and Animal Science Merit Badge. Scouts will spend the day working, creating, and problem solving as they learn about agriculture and plant and animal science. This exclusive experience in agricultural innovation fulfills all requirements for the NOVA and merit badge.
  • Cub Scout STEM Days at Vatterott College in Berkeley, MO (March 17) and Fairview Heights, IL (April 7). Tigers earn Curiosity Intrigue and Magical Mysteries Adventure, Wolves earn Air of the Wolf Adventure, Bears earn Make it Move Adventure, and Webelos earn (most of) Earth Rocks Adventure.

Protestant Religious Award Recognition Day
If you have earned a Protestant Religious Award since January 2017, the Greater St. Louis Area Council wants to recognize your achievement. Youth and adult award recipients and their families are invited to the 2018 Protestant Religious Award Recognition Day at Beaumont Scout Reservation on March 10 beginning at 3 p.m. RSVP by March 1 to [email protected] or 314-256-3106.
Dad & Lad
Dad & Lad registration is live! Join us for a weekend of camping, fishing, shooting sports and fun at Camp Warren Levis (right outside Alton, IL) April 20-22. The theme this year is Gone Fishin,' and the weekend will be filled with fun fishing activities. Cost is just $100 per pair for this three day, two night event.
Join The Scouting Heritage Society
Endowment donors who have contributed $1,000 or more, or those who have a deferred gift to the Greater St. Louis Area Council in their estate plan are invited to be part of our Scouting Heritage Society. The next Heritage Society event takes place at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 24. The evening includes dinner and tickets to "Taikoza Drumming & Dance Spectacular."  There is no cost for a Heritage Society member and their spouse.

Challenge Course/Rock Climbing Re-Qualification
If your instructor card for challenge course or rock climbing is expired or about to expire, get re-qualified during this one-day course at Beaumont Scout Reservation on March 4. 
Cub Scout Fishing Adult Leader Training
Learn how your pack can offer an age-appropriate fishing program for your Cub Scouts, where to borrow the equipment, and how to get free supplies to host a fishing event. This free training takes place Saturday, March 24 at Emerson Center at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Register now.
Eagle Trail Camp
Eagle Trail Week at S bar F Scout Ranch (July 22-27) is a unique camp where participants work only on Eagle-required merit badges and learn about the Life-to-Eagle process while still enjoying summer camp activities. This summer, Eagle Trail campers will have the added experience of joining  participants from the International Ambassador Program. This nationally-renowned program brings Scouts from China to The Ranch for the week. Participants will join together in camp activities and have the chance to trade patches, uniforms, and other Scouting insignia while helping build an understanding of each other's culture. Catholic Cub Day
