Course offered at Noble Horizons:
You won’t save what you don’t love. Using this statement as our starting point, we will explore the best of nature writing--poetry, fiction, and essays--to create empathy and affection for the natural world. We will also explore concepts in environmental sustainability that pertain to our deep-seated human need for what the natural world provides for us, and reckon with our drive to master nature instead of living within it, as one species among many.
