Greetings!

Here's a phrase we hope you'll consider this week: give and take. We think of it as something that benefits all parties involved. Making mutual concessions. Something fair for everyone. But sometimes we can feel like we're on the short end of the stick; doing most of the giving or having more than a fair share taken from us.

Wired to Give
On the heels of the holiday season, you may find yourself "plum give out" as my grandmother used to say. We're taught to give...

And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35, NLT

The Words of Christ teach us to give, but He also teaches us to receive. In our next newsletter we'll take a deeper dive into that. Until then, we hope you'll consider joining us for an upcoming retreat . We believe you'll receive a real filling, enabling you to give from the overflow. (James 1:17 & 1 Peter 4:10)
