June 3rd was the 11th annual "Run for the Bucket" fundraiser. It is one of CVSA's biggest fundraisers. CVSA supporters came to the 5K from far and wide.  People came to support, raise awareness and donate research funds, from Maryland, Nebraska and even California. Although it was raining, a little wet weather couldn't deter most of the group of attendees from running or walking. There were raffles, updates on the Adult Guidelines that CVSA is funding research for and a group picture of CVS sufferers. A total of just over $13,000 was raised. 

In-person Board Meeting

Our Board of Directors had their annual in-person meeting this month. They reviewed the progress on the Adult Guidelines. They went over how the informational booth at the DDW or Digestive Disease Week, for GI doctors and their counterparts, was received. Also discussed the 13th Annual International Adult and Family Conference set for June 29th through July 1st, 2018.
