Principal's Message

Parents,

Please join us as we celebrate the career of kindergarten teacher Margy Banfield this Friday night at Disco Bingo. A favorite Murwood tradition, we combined Mrs. Banfield's love of disco with a great night of family fun to send her off in style. Come thank  Mrs. Banfield for giving our kinders a great start!

Rest up over the weekend, then join us bright and early Monday for Track and Field Day!  We'll be honoring our volunteers and some special PTA honorees! Thank you Sabrina Jones for organizing Track and Field Day!

Kindergarten Parents
Please remember that Oral Health Exam forms are due TODAY.  If you are not up to date, you would have received notice from our district nurse at the end of March.   A reminder note from the office was also sent home in last week's Wednesday envelope for those students who still need to meet this requirement.  Dental forms can be picked up in the office if you have misplaced yours.
From the PTA President

We are in our final two weeks of school and it will surely fly by with all of the fun activities we have planned.  You don't want to miss our Disco Bingo and Farewell to Mrs. Banfield this Friday, June 2nd.  Disco Bingo is Mrs. Banfield's favorite night, and I know why.  It's so fun to play bingo with M & M's!!

If you haven't signed up to volunteer at Track and Field Day, you still have time.  This is such a great event that the our kids look forward to every year.  Come and share in their joy!!

Hope you have a great rest of your week and see you on Friday!

News from Las Lomas High
Send a Note to a Graduate!

A popular tradition at the Las Lomas All-Knighter is the Post Office.  This is where Seniors receive notes written by friends, family, teachers and staff.  This is an easy way to send a "thinking of you" message, a favorite quote or a congratulatory note to a graduate on graduation night.  Please encourage friends and family members to join you in writing a brief message of congratulations to your graduate!

Email messages to: [email protected] Please include:
  • Student's first and last name in the subject line of email
  • The senders name at the end (so student knows who is sending the message)
Messages will be printed and placed in the graduate's post office box at the All- Knighter.  Also, a collection box will be located in the LL Attendance office for letters.  Please make sure the graduates name is clearly visible.

Letters must be received by Monday, June 5th to insure the graduate will receive them on graduation night. Questions?  Contact Sarah Lewis at [email protected]  or Julie Powell at [email protected]
