Input Needed Now on 2017 Health IT Survey 
Your input about Health IT in Illinois is critical to determining the extent of health information technology use by providers and hospitals in Illinois. Survey topics include EHR adoption, utilization and functionality, as well as Health Information Exchange participation. The results will help with current and future support and resources for providers, practices and hospitals in Illinois. Please complete the 2017 Illinois Health IT Survey by July 14th to help inform the health information technology environment in Illinois. We appreciate your participation!

2017 MU Program Requirements on EHR Website  
Providers who have not demonstrated Meaningful Use successfully in a prior year and are seeking to demonstrate Meaningful Use for the first time in 2017 to avoid the 2018 payment adjustment, must attest to Modified Stage 2 objectives and measures. Providers who have demonstrated meaningful use successfully in a previous year may attest to Stage 3 objectives and measures starting in 2017. CMS encourages eligible hospitals, CAHs, and dual-eligible hospitals to visit the EHR Incentive Programs website for more details about the 2017 program requirements  outlined in the full story.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services posted the 2017 annual update for ecQMs for CY2018 reporting for Eligible Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals, and CY2018 performance for Eligible Professions and Eligible Clinicians. Full story.   
MIPS Participation Status Letter
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is reviewing claims and letting practices know which clinicians need to take part in MIPS, the Merit-based Incentive Payment System. MIPS is an important part of the new Quality Payment Program. Full story
