Sacred Heart Alumna today, Cornell Aluma tomorrow...

Samantha Luevanos '17 speaks at 3rd Annual SHHS Gala on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

My name is Samantha Luevanos and I am excited to say that I am a SENIOR and member of the graduating Class of 2017!

My last four years at Sacred Heart have been incredible. It is amazing to see the amount of love that you find here from the students to the teachers. It is extremely evident that everyone really cares. Sadly, my time in high school is coming to an end and college life is soon approaching. I have been blessed to have had the support from both Sacred Heart and my family to the extent that they encouraged me to apply to excellent schools. Thanks to their persistence and belief in me I have been admitted into several universities, and after a long deliberation I have decided to attend Cornell University this fall; making me the first member of my family to ever attend a college or university. I am extremely excited for college life and I feel confident in the beliefs, values, and teachings that I have learned from the staff, teachers, and my family.

We are proud to share that Samantha Luevanos earned the honor of being the valedictorian for the Class of 2017. Congratulations Samantha!

To participate in the empowerment of "Tomorrow's Catholic Woman" today:

Tomorrow's results are created by today's dreamers. Many people dream of a way to leave a legacy that would help Sacred Heart High School grow into the future. Some find that a good way to accomplish this goal is to designate Sacred Heart as the beneficiary of all or part of a retirement plan or life insurance policy. For further information, please contact Rachel Sanchez in the Office of Alumnae and Development at (323) 225-2209.
