Celebrate indigenous culture at Fort William Historical Park on June 10 & 11, 10am-5pm!  Anishnawbe Keeshigun is an annual festival full of entertainment and culture sharing. Celebrate Indigenous culture with a variety of activities and demonstrations throughout the weekend:
  • Learn about Indigenous traditions with hands-on demonstrations including snowshoe weaving, Mukuk (birch bark basket) making, wood carving and pemmican making
  • Watch traditional dance demonstrations
  • Participate in games such as atlatl (spear throwing) and baggataway (lacrosse)
  • Sample delicious foods including corn and bannock
  • Explore your creative side by making crafts

The Thunder Bay Art Gallery is the largest public gallery between Sault Ste Marie and Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Gallery's Permanent Collection includes over 1600 works.
