Summer Fitness Discounts and 2016-17 Wellness Achievements
Facilitating discounts on fitness programs is one way Employee Wellness supports educators.
In partnership with Wellness Champions, Team DPS celebrated these milestones in 2016-17:
- 1,617 employees participated in Well Aware, earning more than $200,000 in rewards.
- 124 educators completed a 20-hour mindfulness course.
- Team members attended 163 on-site workout classes.

Share Your Well-being Tips and Resources with Team DPS
In the spirit of Collaboration, Employee Wellness is looking to Team DPS to help compile a well-being toolkit that will contain resources, tips, activities and more to promote overall well-being. You can also catch Mortified Live's new show "Summer School" at 7 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. on June 17 at The Oriental Theater. Mortified Live has been called a "cultural phenomenon," featuring adults who share embarrassing childhood artifacts including journals, poems, artwork and home movies. Tickets are $16-$20 and the show is for people ages 18 and older. A portion of the proceeds from both shows benefit DPS!
