Williams-McElroy History Endowment brings Dean King '81 to StC 
Dean King '81, author of narrative nonfiction works including "Skeletons on the Zahara," spoke to boys in both the Upper and Middle Schools on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Mr. King's appearance was made possible through the Williams - McElroy History Endowment, established in 2014 to promote the study and understanding of history.

New Mandarin Chinese class visits terracotta warrior exhibit at VMFA
 
On campus, Hanna Zhu's Mandarin Chinese students have been studying the Qin Dynasty and the terracotta warriors. Touring the VMFA exhibit gave them a greater appreciation for the warriors' cultural context.  READ MORE

Eighth grade science students conduct pendulum experiment

Mr. Shin's eighth grade science students are learning about the difference between potential and kinetic energy. Boys pulled back and released a five pound ball to see both types of energy at work, trying not to flinch as the ball swung back to them.  WATCH

Third grade boys visit historic St. John's church for reenactment 

Third grade boys from St. Christopher's and St. Catherine's visited historic St. John's Church to watch actors in full period costume portray the deliberations of the Second Virginia Convention of 1775, culminating in Patrick Henry's famous "Give me liberty, or give me death!" speech.  READ MORE

UR President Dr. Ronald Crutcher and his wife Dr. Betty Neal Crutcher visited StC on Monday, Jan. 29 to meet with Head of School Mason Lecky, Director of Community and Inclusion Shawn Moore, students, and faculty members who are UR alums.  READ MORE
