Undergraduate Scholarship

Highly qualified undergraduate students are invited to apply to fund study, senior thesis research and/or internships in Germany. Scholarships are available either as part of an organized study abroad program or an independent study abroad semester or year. Apply by Jan 31st, 2018.

Learn German in Germany

DAAD offers grants to faculty members in all academic fields (except German Studies, German Language and Literature, and German Translation and Interpretation) to attend intensive language courses at various Goethe-Institut locations in Germany. Four-week courses are offered year-round. Apply by Jan 31st, 2018.

Declan Dwyer-McNulty

Declan Dwyer-McNulty spent the summer of 2015 studying abroad in Bonn. A student at the State University of New York at Geneso, he spent his time in Germany taking classes on German language and culture as well as American environmentalism. Upon his return, he volunteered to serve as a DAAD Young Ambassador.

Media and Operations Intern Wanted

The German Center for Research and Innovation seeks a media and operations intern for a minimum of 6 months .
This position requires a commitment of 38.5 hours per week; additional evening and weekend hours may be necessary. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Start date is April 3, 2018.

Can a First-Year undergraduate student apply for the Undergraduate Scholarship?

Unfortunately, no. Students in their first or Freshman year are not eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Scholarship. In order to be eligible, you must be at least a Sophomore at the time of application.
