It's July!  Roll out those lazy, hazy crazy days of summer...and ongoing activities in the NEV!

CHAMBER MUSIC NORTHWEST CONCERT:
Variations on a Russian Theme
 
Gather with fellow Villagers for a pre-concert BYO picnic or join us just for the concert.  Look for the NE Village PDX sign among the picnic-goers and have a fun evening.

Place:  Kaul Auditorium, Reed College, 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd. Reed's West parking lot is closest to the auditorium. Enter lot from SE 28th Avenue, just north of Woodstock.

MEN'S COOKING  I and II
 
Do you do a lot of cooking in your household?  Or are you a man who wants to cook more but feels he needs to learn some recipes and techniques?  What is a "pinch" of cayenne after all?  Join with other men in the Northeast Village in an activity where we can learn from each other.  The theme of this session is Summer Dinner Salads.

NEIGHBORHOOD WALK: LADD'S ADDITION
 
Explore this lovely neighborhood that features an unusual radial street layout, historic buildings, and rose gardens.  Optional no-host lunch afterward at a place to-be-determined by the group (possibly on Hawthorne Avenue).  The walk will be approximately 2.5 miles.

CHAMBER MUSIC NORTHWEST
FREE REHEARSAL
 
As part of its Summer Festival, Chamber Music Northwest will have an open rehearsal of Rebecca Clarke's Sonata for Viola and Piano.  Want to join other Villagers at the concert?  Look for the NEV'er holding our sign outside the auditorium.  We recommend arriving by 10:40 am, to ensure good seating options.
