The carpark at Skyrail's Smithfield terminal is in the process of being extended.  If you are visiting Tropical North Queensland and will have your own vehicle there will be plenty of room to self drive to Skyrail on your rainforest day.

We are excited for the expansion which includes an additional 106 parking spaces plus 12 oversize recreational vehicle parks. The bays for larger vehicles will be clearly signed. We are making it easier for self-drive visitors to get here. To find out how to get to Skyrail visit our website for more information and downloadable maps.
Kuranda Hotel

The historic circa 1890 Kuranda Hotel is open for business under new owners and management.  The new team are preparing to restore the iconic hotel to its former glory.

A new kitchen, bar and dining room improvements are just part of the renovations. With these changes there will be a focus on local fresh food and specialty beverages.

Located opposite the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Kuranda Terminal, this is a must do when visiting the picturesque village of Kuranda.
