The Summit

A Note From Pastor Linda

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. ~John Maxwell

Jesus said: Come and follow me! (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)

Dear People of the Way!

How do we make a difference where we are along the way?
Most people want to make a difference through their lives. In whatever role you find yourself, you will have influence. God cares more about how we work than where we work. Whether a banker or a baker, a lawyer or marketing executive, army officer or nursery nurse, a stay at home parent or retired... we need to be faithful to God; living, loving and serving as Jesus did in the workplace and at home. In whatever you do in your life, you are a LEADER; people are watching and following you. Do they know that you are a follower of Jesus Christ, a person of the Way?

Here are a few ideas about GREAT leaders:
Great leaders are constantly learning. They read. They reflect. They network. They study culture, trends, organizations and even other leaders.

An opportunity:
The Global Leadership Summit- August 10-11, 2017- two days of fresh, actionable and inspiring leadership training from 13 world-class speakers. Speakers like Sheryl Sandberg, Marcus Lemonis, Angela Duckworth and Marcus Buckingham. (Find out more here: willowcreek.com/summit)

A group from Hosanna is planning on attending. JOIN US- contact me TODAY so that we can register as a team to reduce our cost. I will be registering our TEAM on June 25. (Group cost is $169 per person for this two-day event).

Grace and Peace,

 ~Pastor Linda

Giving Update

As of April 2017- General Ministry Giving is behind to budget by $37,800. Bills are current and paid as the staff is doing an amazing job holding down expenses. This becomes even more urgent considering that we are going into summer and summer is historically a time in the life of the church where giving goes down. Action is needed now. The work of ministry at Hosanna continues throughout the summer months. It is also the time of readying for ministry to take place in the Fall and Winter months ahead.

Your Hosanna family needs you. There are many ways to give- even if you cannot be at worship:
  • Mail your gift to Hosanna or drop it off at the church office- 9300 Scandia Trail North.
  • Text to give: text Hosanna to 50155
  • Go online through QGIV here
  • Use BILLPAY from your financial institution.
  • Set up direct giving though Hosanna.
  • Contact Roxanne Anderson at [email protected] with questions about charitable giving.

Thank you, in advance, for your continued support.
