AgriSafe in Action- June 2017

National Safety Health Month
National Safety Council and thousands of organizations across the country work to raise awareness of what it takes to Keep Each Other Safe. Observed annually in June, National Safety Month focuses on reducing leading causes of injury and death at work, on the road and in our homes and communities.

Agricultural workers are exposed to many hazards including heat; vehicle hazards; ladders and falls; pesticides and chemicals; and many others. Please review these safety and health topics for  agricultural operations by the United States Department of Labor. This list of  Hazards & Controls is a brief reminder of what producers face daily. AgriSafe Network is here to help and has several resources for health & safety professionals and the agricultural community. Visit our resources page(s) to build your resource library.
