On Demand Webinar on Time Management

The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.
~ C.S. Lewis

Time is fixed as there are only 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day.  So we cannot really teach time management but rather self-management of the time that one has available. Seeing, sensing and managing the passage of time is a fundamental skill that students who tend to procrastinate need to develop

Watch On Demand and learn how to help students:

  • Accurately and effortlessly estimate how long tasks will take, change or maintain their pace, and carry out routines and tasks within allotted time frames.
  • Understand the impact of multitasking on performance and how to make distractions tangible and manageable.
  • Increase their time horizon – or how far into the future they can see – to increase motivation, planning and task initiation.
  • Externalize and have metacognition for time so they can shift flexibly and adopt a new time plan when they are off task.

With year end exams and projects just around the corner, learn techniques now to increase a student’s awareness of how to plan their time to be prepared for exams and to complete projects without last minute chaos.
