We are thrilled to share some exciting news: 86% of Horton's Kids seniors are graduating high school this year - that's twice the neighborhood average!

Graduation season is an exciting time for Horton's Kids. Our goal is to empower children in grades K-12 to graduate high school ready for success in college, career, and life. So we're very proud when our participants reach this important milestone

Thank you for all that you've done to support Horton's Kids and the Class of 2017. Your donations, your volunteer hours, and your support have led to this success.

Hear from some members of the Horton's Kids Class of 2017!

We've seen these graduates move on from attending Horton's Kids tutoring in elementary school, to participating in our older youth activities and discussion groups. We were happy to even be able to attend many of their graduation ceremonies!

Congratulations, graduates! We wish you continued success and can't wait to see what you do next.
Horton's Kids empowers children living in one of Washington, DC's most under-resourced communities so that they can graduate high school ready for success in college, career, and life.  The children we serve live in a community with one of the highest rates of violent crime in DC, where the average family income is less than $10,000 per year. Horton's Kids operates a safe and welcoming Community Resource Center just steps from where the children live.
