2017 Dance Concert

Congratulations to all of our dancers and teachers on a wonderful day of dance concerts on Saturday!  Thank you so very much to all of the parent volunteers and alumni who helped make our shows such a success.  We are already busy working on exciting plans to make next years performance even more spectacular!

Congratulations to our 2017 Seniors: Carley Bernstein, Shannon Clarke, Anna DeBald, Cate Hayes and Megan Hopkins!  Your TDC Family will miss you; we hope you come back to dance with us as alumni.

DVD orders were due today (Monday, June 12).  If you handed in an order form your DVD will be available at Open House in August.

It's time to prepare for the annual Skippack Village 4th of July Parade!

All students age six and above are eligible to be a part of this event and we would love for them to join us! 

The following will be required as part of the preparation:
  •    Rehearsals will be held June 27 th , 28 th and 29 th from 5:30-7:00. July 3rd  will be reserved in case we need an extra rehearsal. (Please wear sneakers and bring a bottle of water to all rehearsals)
  •   The rehearsal fee for the performance will be $20.00 per family plus $15 per dancer for a parade t-shirt if you need a new one (same shirts as last year: blue with red TDC logo and white stars).
  • IF YOU NEED A NEW SHIRT WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR ORDER FORM AND PAYMENT BY THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 16th!
  •   The dancers will wear the TDC parade shirt, black dance shorts, and sneakers on parade day. Hair should be in a high, clean bun; we will provide a hair piece.
  •    The Parade is Tuesday, July 4th at 11:00 am. The dancers need to be at the Skippack Fire House (meet outside the Goddard School) by 10:30 am. The dancers will be walking and dancing approximately 2 miles as part of the parade. Please send a water bottle with your dancers name on it (we will bring them along the route in wagons).
  •    Please return the  permission form along with the $20.00 rehearsal fee & $15 shirt fee to the studio by June 16 th . If you'd like to drop off your envelope when the studio is closed you may slide it under the door.  SHIRTS CAN NOT BE ORDERED AFTER THE 16th.
  •    If you would like to walk with your child in the parade, please let us know. Otherwise, a parent must be waiting to meet your child at Key Bank where we end the parade route.

SUMMER CAMP
Our summer camps are starting to fill up! Register today to hold your spot in one of our exciting new themed camps. 

FIRST UP: (Week of June 26th, 9:30-12:30)
Princess Tea Party (ages 3-7)
Sugar and spice and everything nice! Little ladies and ballerinas are invited to join us for a week full of "tea parties", dress up fun, and creative play. We will finish our week with a sweet ballet performance for our parents 
Backstage Pass (ages 8-up)
Calling all performers...this is your week! We will explore many aspects of performing arts including singing, dancing, and acting. Themed days include "Descendants", "Aladdin" and "Hairspray". Our week will culminate with a performance for parents.

There is an option for Extended Day for all camps. 
"Stay & Play"
12:30PM - 2:00PM Monday-Thursday
$50 (in addition to camp fee)
Option available on Monday- Thursday for each day camp. Students must be pre-registered for Stay & Play so that we can schedule teachers appropriately. Stay & Play fees will not be pro- rated. 

Open Classes  (ages 7-up)
Open classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday  evenings (starting at 4:30) throughout the summer in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, jumps & turns and ballet/jazz combination. A pre-purchased class card is required to attend all open classes.  An open class schedule is coming soon!

10 class drop in card: $110
5 class drop in card: $60 

Fall Schedule
The 2016-2017 schedule is coming soon! Class recommendation letters and schedules will sent home.
