Montecito Community Meeting Set for Tomorrow (Thursday) Evening Re: Next Evacuation Details
As recovery continues in Montecito, it is important for the public to understand the risks associated with future storms in the area and what to do when evacuation orders are issued.  Debris removal from private property is a priority and critical to assisting homeowners and renters in returning to their homes and regaining normalcy .

To provide information on future storm risks, evacuation information and debris removal, the County is holding a Montecito community meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 8 at Montecito Union School, 385 San Ysidro Rd. Representatives from various agencies will be available for questions after presentations and Q&A. FEMA representatives will be in attendance to assist community members with long-term recovery needs. Spanish and ASL interpretation will be available.

This community meeting will be broadcast live on KEYT Channel 3 and streamed online by KSBY, on the County's YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The Local Recovery and Assistance Center transitioned to a smaller Disaster Recovery Center staffed by state and federal agencies to aid with long-term recovery. The Disaster Recovery Center is located at 1 N. Calle Cesar Chavez in Santa Barbara.

For questions related to recovery resources, the community may call the Public Information Line at (833) 688-5551.
Parishioners Step Up to Help One Another, Our Community; See Below to Register as Volunteer
Many of our parish and Parish School families and our immediate neighbors have been directly impacted by the mud/debris flows that hit Montecito on Jan. 9. Community volunteers have come with shovels in hand and equipment to help dig out mud, personal belongings, and more.

All Saints has supported these efforts and continues to do so; we now turn our attention to supporting Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD). Just like the Santa Barbara Bucket Brigade, VOAD is helping organize support for homeowners who need assistance cleari ng dirt, removing mud and debris from their homes and property and other significant tasks.

Volunteers Needed This Week:
Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

In support of these efforts, All Saints parishioners and Parish School families are asked to call, email or sign-up at the information below to assist. Activities are being coordinated by VOAD in coordination with Santa Barbara County:

Gathering of Hope and Remembrance Set for Friday, One Month Anniversary of Tragedy
Gathering of Hope and Remembrance
Friday at 6:30 p.m. @
All Saints-by-the-Sea

As we approach one month since the mudslides, All Saints seeks to reunite those who gathered to serve and be served at All Saints-by-the-Sea this Friday, and all from the community who have been impacted by the mudslide.

Our gathering will begin with a brief time of reflection, healing and non-denominational prayer in the All Saints Sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. followed by a community meal (sponsored by All Saints) in the Parish Hall at 7 p.m.

All who were impacted by the mudslides are welcome to attend. Those who were present at All Saints on January 9 are especially encouraged to reunite. If you brought blankets, clothes, or food; offered medical assistance; offered hospitality; received care; were evacuated; or were a first responder on site, we welcome you all. Children, too, are welcome.

Since we don't know the names or contacts of everyone who was present or passed through, please share this invitation widely (by email, text, social media, word of mouth...) with anyone you know who was at All Saints on January 9 and 10, or who could just use come caring community in these times.
