Call to Action

Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 4, when we'll hold a special meeting after worship to share information concerning a number of issues with the parsonage, and outline a number of approaches for resolving them. A light lunch will be provided.

Looking Ahead
On Sunday, June 11 two young persons, Liana Chan and Otto Kirleis, will affirm their baptismal faith at worship. Our thanks to their parents, sponsors, and confirmation teachers Phil and Gail Weston-Roberts, who have all played important roles in their faith development.

After worship on the 11th, we'll pause to give thanks for the program year coming to an end, and celebrate with a cook-out and parking lot "Block Party." Mains, drinks, and ice cream will be provided; please bring a vegetable, salad, or side to share. Be ready for fun and games!

On Sunday, May 28th, we celebrate the Seventh Sunday of Easter. 9:00 a.m., Sunday School and Adult Forum, 10:00 a.m. Worship, Pastor Rebecca Bourret preaching and presiding.

Sing For Joy
Enhance your understanding of the weekly scripture readings by listening to Sing For Joy http://www.stolaf.edu/singforjoy/ from St. Olaf College.  The Sing For Joy radio program, produced by St. Olaf College , has a simple mission: to explore the weekly themes of Christian worship by providing the best in sacred choral music and thoughtful commentary. The musical performances eloquently "do the talking," while the concise remarks from host Pastor Bruce Benson illuminate the meaning of the texts.
