Recap of 2017 TMA NOW Summit

The 4th Annual TMA Network of Women (NOW) Summit took place May 16th at the Conrad Chicago Hotel. The Summit drew more than 100 attendees from all over the United States and Canada. Topics of discussion were unconscious bias and rainmaking/networking, and both topics incited lively conversation.

Sangita Kasturi, CEO, Action Inclusion, was one of the keynote speakers on unconscious bias and she shared very interesting insights. Ms. Kasturi made the point that to change perceptions of women, we must change perceptions of men. Her presentation on this topic can be accessed here

More than 90 percent of survey respondents said they made a new connection at the Summit.

Please mark your calendars to join us for the 2018 TMA NOW Summit which will be held Tuesday, May 8 in Chicago, Illinois.

TMA Germany

TMA Germany
TMA Germany held a successful event in April that was organized by Eva Ringelspacher, the chair of TMA NOW Germany, senior manager at hww Unternehmensberater, in Frankfurt. She hosted a breakfast meeting and invited Nicole Meissner, CFO of FEAG Holding GmbH, Nürnberg, who spoke about the steps she had to take before getting to her current position and her experiences in restructuring situations.

The attendees were enthusiastic listeners. In the discussion that followed, they spoke about similar situations and possible reasons why a low number of women are active in the German restructuring sector. An interesting topic of the conversation was the difference in job applications of men and women.
