Village Center 23
This Week at BJBE

June 12, 2017

Dear Friends,
Friday night we dedicated our beautiful new Torah mantles in a deeply moving service. We also installed the 2017/18 Board of Trustees, Sisterhood Board and SYG Board. My sincerest thanks to outgoing president Gary Schaffel for his dedicated service to our congregation. Congratulations to the incoming officers and board members. I encourage every congregant to get to know the lay leaders who represent their interests. Lisa Wilson and Tracy Friend are the incoming board co-presidents, Carol Berger continues her role as Sisterhood president, and Benjamin Bluman and Emma Rosenberg-Rappin are SYG co-presidents. It is through the strength of the sacred partnership between clergy, professional staff and dedicated lay leaders that BJBE thrives and meets the needs of our congregants.

This Friday we begin our summer schedule for Shabbat Services. Please join us for a wine and cheese pre-oneg in the Village Center at 5:15pm followed by the service at 6:00pm in the Chapel.

Please note, Talmud study is cancelled this week. There will be morning minyan at 6:45am.

L'shalom,
Arlene
