World Day of Lepers this Sunday 28 January 2018
The World Health Organisation has classified LEPROSY in the group
of neglected tropical diseases. There are more than 1.5 million people worldwide suffering from leprosy with a further 250,000 new cases every year, 15,000 of which are already handicapped upon being diagnosed: leprosy continues its devastation!
The Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, Monaco, makes its annual appeal this weekend for donations in support of the Fondation Raoul Follereau and its work in the fight against Leprosy. The St Paul's offertory plate for Sunday, 28 January, will be given to the Foundation Raoul Follereau. Please give generously.
