LATEST NEWS
ASH WEDNESDAY IS NEXT WEEK
You are invited to participate in Ash Wednesday services, held on February 14, which is Ash Wednesday. It is a day of introspection and penitence, a day marking the beginning of Lent. An Ash Wednesday reflection, written by Jill Duffield, editor of The Presbyterian Outlook, can be found here. A listing of Presbytery of Milwaukee congregations can be found here. We welcome you!
LENT BEGINS NEXT WEEK
Lent is a season of reflection and action. During these 40 days we follow Jesus to Jerusalem, taking stock of where we willingly go and where we hesitate and turn back. May these devotions be a helpful guide along the journey to the cross, grave, and, finally, to the empty tomb.
The Presbyterian Outlook offers hymns and devotions to support congregations as we worship and study together this Lent.
More about hymns here. More about devotions here
FEBRUARY 18 IS A BLUE-OUT
The first Sunday in Lent, February 18, is designated "Wear your blue T-shirt to church Sunday" as a testament to one of the ways One Great Hour of Sharing makes a difference. Will you join the blue Out? More info here.
ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING BEGINS IN LENT
Most congregations receive "OGHS" on Easter Sunday, Passion/Palm Sunday or both, while many receive it throughout Lent-however, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by One Great Hour of Sharing Offering by  making an online gift  at any time throughout the year.
A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God's love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed. More information here.
