Session Description: Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). Horizon 2020 is open to everyone around the globe. Nevertheless, it still requires knowledge and skill to navigate towards a successful grant!
This webinar will cover the basics about Horizon 2020 for non EU-members. How to apply, to which programs and when, what gets funded and where might our own resources be necessary. The session will also deal with special considerations of 1) a European applicant wishing to partner with a non-european partner and 2) a non-european institution wishing to partner on a H2020 grant application. And what does the recently signed "Implementing Arrangement" between the US and the EU actually mean?

This webinar is aimed at mid to senior level research managers who are interested in accessing H 2020 funding either as European applicants or their non-european partners.
