INCOMPAS Urges FCC to Deny Petition Seeking Preemption of San Francisco Access Ordinance
On July 9, INCOMPAS filed reply comments in response to the petition of the Multifamily Broadband Council seeking preemption of the City of San Francisco's city ordinance on competitive providers' access to multi-dwelling units (MDUs).

INCOMPAS urged the Commission to deny the petition because the San Francisco ordinance increases MDU tenants' access to competitive communications services, lawfully eliminates a major barrier to entry for competitive providers, and furthers the Commission's goals of accelerating deployment of high-speed internet access.
