LPIE - Forward together into the next school year
Wow, what a year it was!  For all of you LPIE supporters and donors out there, together we had another record breaking year for fundraising! We achieved a new fundraising high for the eighth straight year in a row...over $3,000,000 given to the six Lafayette public schools!  Our annual event, the Power Party, went to a new format and raised an unbelievable $450,000! Thank you for the outpouring of support that was given...tremendous! What was raised this year was spent on your students this year.  What about next year? Our annual donation ask per student will increase to $1,000. The demands of both districts who are currently deficit spending call for more support from LPIE, this year and in the years to come, in order to prevent further cuts and reductions. The future of state funding is extremely bleak; if we want to maintain programs and classes in our schools, LPIE will continue to help fill the widening gap, but we need your support. Any amount you give will help us as a community reach our goal, and support our children.  Remember, your support of LPIE helps us impact the learning of every student at every grade, every day. Learn more and donate at www.lpie.org.
