You're invited to participate in our next SWOT meeting. Wildhaven Ranch (

) is a wildlife sanctuary near Lake Arrowhead. So why would The Barnabas Group do a SWOT for a wildlife sanctuary?
Diane Dragotto Williams, founded the non-profit that runs the Ranch, The San Bernardino Mountains Wildlife Society, in 1994. Her love for wild animals grew out of the way God used his creatures to heal and sustain her through a traumatic childhood. Marrying her passion for evangelism with her love for wild animals, Diane shares about the wonders of God's creation as she educates visitors about the animals in her care. These public comments sometimes lead to private conversations where she can passionately share her faith.
Desiring to reach out to those who do not yet believe in God, Diane has intentionally not branded the Ranch to specifically attract a Christian audience.
God has sustained the Ranch in amazing ways, seeing them through (among other things) a fire that devastated the facility in 2003 and a major legal challenge in 2010 that limited their operation and stripped them of a major funding source.
Wildhaven Ranch could benefit in many ways from the diverse skills of Barnabas partners, such as marketing, succession planning, finding interns, and legal assistance.
But the BIG QUESTION we'll address at this SWOT is:
How do we increase our Kingdom impact while operating within the constraints of a government regulated wildlife sanctuary?

: The back of the lot against the 57 Freeway is free parking. Parking in the lot close to the building will get you a ticket after 2 hours (very strict); parking in the parking structure will cost at least $10.
