- International Volcanology Field School: Mutnovsky and Gorely Volcanoes, Kamchatka, 6-20 August 2018. Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) offers a two-week field class in volcanology in cooperation with the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (IVS) and Kamchatka Branch of Geophysical Survey (KBGS) in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia. The course is offered in Katmai National Park, Alaska (June 3-16) and in Kamchatka, Mutnovsky and Gorely volcanoes (Aug. 6-20). Applications are accepted on the continuous basis. More details...
