Dear Friends,

On this Memorial Day please remember the sacrifice made by our brave service men and women that have sacrificed their lives for us. They have fought to keep us safe and preserve our American values.

Take some time between the picnics, parades, and holiday traffic to remind our young ones of the true meaning of this day off in May.  Set aside a moment to say the prayer above and reflect on how grateful we are for the sacrifice of our fallen veterans and how it reminds us how Jesus Christ also laid down his life for us.

Many Blessings,

Steven J. Santoli

Bishop Scholarship Fund Round 2 is Complete

Please be on the lookout for a notification directly from FACTS concerning the status of your families application for the Bishop's Scholarship.  The Second round of awards will be made next week.

Additionally, Assumption Catholic School will send financial assistance notification letters to qualified families this week. Along with those letters will be the instructions and applications for the Tuition Assistance Committee.  If your financial assistance award does not meet your need please complete the appeal to the TAC. TAC decisions will be made by the end of June.

Appeals to the Tuition Assistance Committee
If a family feels they need more financial assistance after all scholarship funds have been exhausted, they are invited to make an appeal to the Tuition Assistance Committee.  The TAC is a group, independent of the school administration, that hears appeals and determines eligibility for Assumption Grants.

To be considered for tuition assistance the family must have applied for BSF and met the April 1 deadline.

Families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application at  FACTS MGT.COM to receive any financial assistance for the 2017-18 school year. All financial assistance is granted on a yearly basis and not guaranteed from year to year.

Financial assistance decisions are based on the financial need assessment performed by FACTS. Certain hardship cases will be considered at the local level.

If you have any questions about your eligibility for financial assistance, please contact Mr. Santoli directly.
