Grades 1-3 Telus Sparks Field Trip
On Wednesday, grades 1 to 3 went on a field trip to Telus Spark. We took part in "The Power of Ideas Tour" presented by Perimeter Institute and Actua. We had an amazing time learning about the ability of the human mind to question, make, and innovate. We were also able to watch a dome movie "Mysteries of the Unseen World". We did a lab called "Junior Architects" and learned new skills and took some exciting risks along the way to build our confidence. The most exciting part however was when the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston stopped to talk with us about how we liked our trip and what were some of our favourite things to do. Thank you to our parent volunteers, Mrs. Raiko and Mrs. Ullman for accompanying the field trip!
