What's in this week's Box
Grown on our farm using organic farming methods:
carrots, arugula, strawberries, potatoes, broccoli, and spring onions.
The Hass avocados are grown by Dave Righetti of San Luis Obispo.
The green beans are grown by Bautista Farms in Arroyo Grande, pesticide free.
The "Persian" cucumbers come from Ocean Breeze Farms in Nipomo. They are grown using pesticide- free farming practices. . The "Persian" cucumber is unique among cucumbers in that it has a thin skin that doesn't require peeling and has no bitter aftertaste.

WHAT TO DO WITH THIS BUNCH OF ARUGULA..
This past weekend, Maureen and I found ourselves eating at one of our "upscale" restaurants that we sell to in west Los Angeles.  We ordered a breakfast combo plate.. and along with the eggs, bacon and biscuit, there was a big helping of fresh arugula...it actually went well with all the other fixings!
