Summer is a time for relaxation and vacation for many. Here at Not In Our Town, we remember recent summers when hate crime attacks shattered the lives of families in Charleston, Orlando, Oak Creek, and Tulsa. NIOT was there to seek out the stories of how these communities responded after horrific tragedies. We have learned so much from the people who have shared their stories of resilience and action.
