WSCGA Junior Championship
Wescott Plantation, Summerville,  SC
June 21-23

Isabelle Rawl, Lexington, SC

The race is on......8 Players tied for the top 6 spots to advance representing SC in the GA vs SC matches in August.  Shooting low round for the day was 13 year old Isabelle Rawl, Lexington, SC, with 3 birdies and 15 pars to jump up to 2nd place. Following right behind her, maintaining the lead going into the final round, is Graycn Burgess, Lexington, SC, firing another 71 to be the only player under par for both days of the tournament.  Burgess birdied holes 4, 6, 7, and 8 on the front nine for a tournament low 32 on one side.  Three players shot even par 72, Evans (Lancaster), Tindal (Rock Hill), and Morgan (Spartanburg).

Delanie Mortier, who's home course is Wescott Plantation, Aced Hole 4 with a pitching wedge from 110 yards for her second career hole-in-one.  This was the same hole that denied Elle Johnson, Inman, SC her hole-in-one yesterday.

The final round of the 34th Annual Junior Championship will commence at 9:00am with a shotgun start.  Wescott Golf Club is in great shape and open season for birdies and eagles.

Correction from yesterday:  Katie Whitfield did almost have to two hole-in-ones sticking the ball to inches twice, but Elle Johnson was the player that shattered the hole on the fly.
