INWED 2017 - Events Across the Globe
For the first time INWED has become truly International, with details of events across the globe being sent to us all the time. From Brazil to Basildon, the world is coming together to support International Women in Engineering Day 2017!

Media Kit

If you would like support with your INWED17 communications, both internally and externally please download the Media Kit for International Women in Engineering Day on 23 June 2017.

Resource Pack

The Women's Engineering Society (WES) launched the #INWED17 Resource Pack in March. Since then, it has been downloaded almost 700 times from across the globe!

The Resource Pack is the perfect guide to INWED for Educators and Businesses alike and is still available on our website.

Draw an Engineer Competition 

We are delighted to relaunch our competition for children aged 3 - 11 years, to help schools across the country celebrate  INWED17.

To enter, simply draw, crayon or paint an engineer on A4 paper and email us a good quality photo of your submission to  [email protected]  with  the subject line:
 INWED COMPETITION ENTRY

Please include your name, age, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and School name (if applicable) in your email. The competition closes  Friday 30 th June.

INWED17 Thunderclap

Ple ase help us to make INWED17 another amazing year by signing up to our 'Thunderclap'. We need a minimum of 100 supporters to make this live. It will post the same  Tweet, Facebook  and  Tumblr  post all at the same time on 23 June 2017. This is our opportunity to spread the messages of INWED far and wide across social media on the day. 

Please also encourage your company to sign up to it via the social media team as their coverage will really help boost how far the message is shared. Thank you as ever for your support!
