 From Fr. Jim Harrison

Fr. Jim is away at Church camp. He and 25 other All Saints folks have been at Camp Lakotah learning what it means to be blessed. Through games, crafts, meals, new friendships, campfires, worship, and study of the Beatitudes, they are experiencing blessings of all kinds!

Peace, Jim+
From the Organist/Choirmaster, Frank Rippl
Dear friends,

It is that time of year again when the Lunchtime Organ Recital Series gathers at All Saints for the Annual Fourth of July Sing-a-Long.  It is a hugely popular event which fills our church to capacity!  People who love to sing  come ready and early to get a good seat.  They pack the nave, the choir, and both chapels.  Those in wheelchairs or walkers usually sit in the choir area, so that if they enter using the elevator, they have a barrier free access to the church.

I need lots of help that morning for the half hour program which starts at 12:15pm on Tuesday, July 4.  Ushers, guides, program givers, and greeters at all the entrances.  The audience usually begins to arrive at 11:30am, so we all need to be ready for them at that time.  Some may need help with the elevator, and some may use the lift.  I'll need two people at the top and bottom of the lift to operate it for our guests.  I also need someone to ring the bell, and turn on the  air-conditioning.

If you are willing to help out on this day, please meet with me on Sunday, July 2nd after the 10:00 service.  If you can't come at that time but wish to help, just contact me by email.

This is a wonderful outreach opportunity for our church, and it is a lot of fun!

Many thanks,
Frank
From the Director of Youth Ministry, Erin Wolf
Happy June to all!

Saturday, June 24th, 11 AM
Cathedral of St. Paul
51 West Division, Fond du Lac

Since 1960 the diocesan family has gathered to be united in its faith in the Presence of our Blessed Lord in the Bread and Wine of the Altar. In being so devoted, we can be united in making known God's presence to all people.

The Holy Eucharist is at 11:00 a.m. with homilist Bishop Dorsey Henderson, retired Bishop of Upper South Carolina and former Dean St. Paul's Cathedral.
  • Sing with the choir. Rehearsal at 9:30 a.m. Details here
  • Enjoy the Bishop's Picnic following the Eucharist.
  • Evening Prayer and the Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament is at 3:00 p.m.
All are invited to attend.  Click  here  for more information.

The Diocese of Fond du Lac is pleased to host the annual gathering of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, founded in 1862 to honor the Presence of Our Lord in the Sacrament and to promote appropriate preparation and devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
Open Church

Once again, our red doors are open on Fridays from 10am-2pm to offer passers-by a space for prayer and reflection.  If you'd like to volunteer to sit in the back of the church and greet people as they come in, please sign up on the bulletin board.
