The Youth Ministries Rummage Sale begins tomorrow, get ready to shop the day away! Plan to shop for treasures and bargains on Friday, June 23 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday, June 24 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. All proceeds help support Youth Ministries missions. See you there!
VBS and MissionFactory Donation Table
Sundays through July 9
Please visit the VBS and MissionFactory donation table in the Narthex to see how you can help. We are seeking donations of specific snack ingredients for VBS, monetary donations to help defray supply costs, and sponsors for our VBS Family Night and Volunteer Breakfast.  
Backpacks for Christopher House
Final week for donations!
Christopher House is completing another successful year for grades kindergarten through third grade, and they will be adding fourth grade next year! The Christopher House Auxiliary needs your help in providing backpacks for the students. Our goal is to provide 250 backpacks. With a gift of $20.00 you can sponsor a child whose family cannot afford to buy a backpack. Following each church service a table will be available to receive your donations. Thank you for your support!
Engraved brick orders
Engraved bricks in the Memorial Prayer Garden honor loved ones and friends, living or deceased, in a beautiful setting. Engraved bricks require a donation of $50 for two lines of 12 characters and spaces or a donation of $65 for three lines of 12 characters and spaces. Forms are available in the form rack by the church office. For installation in the Fall of 2017, please have your orders in by Monday, June 26 . Bricks are ordered once each year and are installed only in the Fall, usually September or October. Late orders will not be ordered until next year. Mail or deliver your completed order form and attached check to the church office. If you have questions, you may contact Betty Launer at 847-749-0402.

Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School (VBS) is for kids 4 years old through entering fourth grade. Registration ($25) includes a T-shirt and VBS music CD or digital download. 

MissionFactory  is for kids entering fifth and sixth grades, and focuses on daily mission activities, both on- and off-site. R egistration ($25) includes a custom T-shirt. Sign up today!
Summer Road Closures around First Pres
Due to construction being completed on the Parkview Apartments at 212 N. Dunton Ave., First Pres will be impacted by road closures South of the building. Closure is now scheduled for June 28 - 30 and July 5 - August 18, but dates may change. Closures will affect Eastman Street from Dunton Avenue to Vail Street. For more information, please see the notice on the bulletin board in the church foyer. We will keep you updated on any changes.
Summer Office Hours
Through September 1
The church office will close at 12:30 pm each Friday through September 1 . Regular office hours will remain in effect Monday through Thursday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. To schedule Friday afternoon access to the church building, please contact Brian Larson (or call: 847-255-5900).
