Israel Action Follow Up
Israel Action Follow-up:
More things we can do (and have done) to  help Israel:

* Visit the website, 4IL: 4IL is a site developed by Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs that provides information on attempts by the BDS movement to de-legitimize Israel and actions taken to counter those attempts.  While on that site, you will find the app, Act.IL. Act.IL  is an app developed by, among others, IDC in Herzliya, together with the Ministry of Strategic Affairs.  It serves as a platform for taking collective action to combat BDS actions. Special thanks to our own Asher Fredman for his vital work in developing these initiatives in his role at Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs.

and download the Act.IL app

* On Monday evening, June 19, the Westchester County Board of Legislators voted 16-1 in favor of the Anti- BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions) Movement resolution.
. We thank the Board of Legislators for proposing and overwhelmingly passing this resolution and thank their "Committee on Legislation," that voted in favor of bringing it from committee to the full Board of Legislators.
Kol Hakavod to those who took the time to contact their local legislators.  The legislators who spoke Monday night noted the many calls and emails they each received.  Special thanks to Elliot Forscheimer and the WJC for coordinating these efforts will of our local Jewish advocacy organizations.

Please feel free to take a moment to thank your legislator   for supporting this resolution.

* In a June 15th AIPAC Press Release, they note the following: "The Senate overwhelmingly adopts legislation targeting Iran's dangerous behavior.  AIPAC commends the Senate for overwhelmingly adopting bipartisan legislation in a 98-2 vote that would impose sanctions targeting Iran's ballistic missile program, its destabilizing actions in the Middle East, its human rights abuses, and its conventional weapons trade".
