Invitation Cards for Worship

 STUDY THE BIBLE

Sunday School & Adult Education
will resume in the Fall.

  Parables Bible Study
Gain a deeper understanding of Jesus' Parables through insights into the cultural context.  Pastor Paul Mayerhoff will lead the class on June 27th, at 7 PM at the church.
 
Small Group Opportunities

LIFT (Ladies in Faith Together) Summer Bible Study
Our ladies Bible study will continue through August 14th on Mondays.  We will meet at church in the conference room from 10-noon and will be studying various Psalms.  Bring your Bible and spiral/journal. Childcare is provided. 
Living the Life Small Groups 
By God's grace we want to grow up into Christ in all things, and live this new life in Him to its fullest. Groups m eet at various times once a month. Groups can be joined at any time throughout the year.   For more information, contact Steve Burke at [email protected] .    Click here to sign up.

FELLOWSHIP

Summer Breakfast Volunteers
Summer breakfasts will continue through August 27th.  We hope you take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for fellowship over a delicious breakfast each Sunday.  Please consider volunteering to be on one of the Sunday's breakfast teams.  The cost of the food is reimbursed.

LIFE Group Events
Young Couples & Parents -  Pack your swimsuit and join us on Saturday, July 15th, at 10 am join us at Dove Park Spraygound for fun and fellowship.   Click here to sign up.
Tweeners  - We will meet for lunch on Sunday, July 23rd, after the late service at Wise Guys Pizza (next to the church)!  Click here to sign up.
Middlers -  Join us for an evening of food, fellowship and music on Saturday, July 8th.  We will begin at Red Robin in Hurst (820 NE Mall Blvd) at 5:30 PM for dinner.  Then head to the Artisan Theater (44 E. Pipeline Rd.) for a western and gospel music revue called "The Tumble Weed Round Up", beginning at 7 PM.  Tickets are $20.  Sign up and pay for the tickets by this Sunday, June 25th. Summer BBQ Fellowship
It is almost summertime, and that means BBQ fellowship time! We will meet at 6:30 PM each night. Below is our schedule:
July 12th - Meat U Anywhere BBQ (919 W. Northwest Hwy., Grapevine)

August 2nd - Red Barn BBQ (4913 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville)

LWLC Family Camping 
Mark your calendar for the nights of September 1st-3rd at North Texas Jellystone Park in Burleson TX.  Accommodation options include: tent camping, RV, and variety of cabins.  Water park, hay rides, hiking, fishing, arts and crafts, and other fun family activities to choose from.  For more information, please contact David Coulson at [email protected].

Golf Fellowship

Hiking Fellowship
Join us the 3rd Saturday of every month for a hiking fellowship.  
We will meet at Bob Jones Dog Park (3901 N White Chapel Blvd., Southlake).  Hope to see you there!
 
 MISSIONS 

Mustang Community Market
Our next Farmer's Market will be on Saturday, June 24th, from 9-11 AM, at the Grapevine Community Outreach Center.  We provide low cost food for economically challenged residents.  We will need volunteers to help purchase the goods (cost covered by the church), set up, sell the goods and be a friendly Christian toward those who attend.  If you would like to help, please contact Steve Burke at  [email protected]. 
 
Sports Evangelism Training
  This Saturday morning, June 24th, 8:30 to 11:30, learn the steps to build an effective sports outreach ministry for youth and adults that can reach the lost.   Contact Steve to sign up.   [email protected]   

New Neighbor Gift Bags  
There are red, blue, green and yellow gift bags in the church office you can use to welcome any new neighbors that move into your neighborhood. 

LWLC Sewing Group
Join us at the church the second Saturday of the month at 10 AM, as we sew simple blanket type coverings for missionaries to share with those to whom they minister.  You do not need to be an experienced seamstress!  Bring a sack lunch and enjoy fellowship and simple sewing.
