LFHS 82nd Commencement Ceremony Broadcast Available for Viewing!

The Lake Forest High School's Eighty-Second Commencement Ceremony, honoring the class of 2017,
was broadcast via YouTube on Saturday, June 3. The video is available to view below.

Congratulations to the 438 class of 2017 graduates!
  • 98% of the senior class will be attending college in the fall
  • Approximately $7,500,000 in scholarship money was awarded to the members of the senior class
  • Included in that scholarship total were three appointments to the Service Academies (Air Force & Naval Academy);  four ROTC Scholarships; and three full-ride Chick Evans Caddie Scholarships.
  • Six National Merit Finalists
  • 144 Illinois State Scholars

Community Invited to Support Net Gain 2017 on Sat., June 24!
On Saturday, June 24 the Orr Academy High School basketball teams will visit Lake Forest High School to play two exhibition games - junior varsity will tip off at 2:00pm and the varsity teams will play around 3:00pm in the Competition Gym, LFHS East Campust, 1285 N. McKinley Rd., Lake Forest, IL.

This fundraiser will support the Orr basketball program and a cultural exchange to positively impact young men from both Orr and Lake Forest High Schools. For more details, visit NET GAIN 2017 - MORE THAN A GAME


  • ONLY SENIORS can apply for a parking permit.
  • The cost is $700 for the semester, August 23, 2017 to January 18, 2018
  • Parking is for EVERY day, EVERY week of the 1st semester
  • ALL seniors interested must apply and pay by Monday, June 19th at 11:59pm.
