Vacation Bible School
July 17 - 20, 2017
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
All children ages four (by July 2017) through rising 5th graders  are invited to join us for VBS.   F ollowing the theme,  "Digging for Treasure: Parables Revealed, "  our Bible lessons will explore the treasures of the Kingdom of God and remind us of how much God loves us. Paper registration forms are available in the narthex and church office or you can register online !   Registration is due by July 12th.
    ALSO, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!! Vacation Bible School cannot happen without good and faithful volunteers, so we need your help. Volunteers can register online, or you can fill out a paper registration form and return it to the church office.   Please note: volunteers 18 and older should have completed the screening for the Child and Youth Protection Policy before VBS begins.
Lay Liturgists for Worship Needed
God gives us many gifts and as a church we joyfully work together to worship, learn, and grow.  Help us as we  worship! Sign up here to be a lay reader to share God's wo rd with us in worship as you read scripture on Sundays. Materials and information will be sent to you for the week that you sign up.
Mission Opportunities
Looking for ways to serve God this summer? Consider these options...
1.  Opportunity House Meals.  Our mission partner Opportunity House serves lunch on Wednesdays, and they need help with meal prep and/or serving from July 5 through August 9. Call Opportunity House for details.
2. Meals on Wheels.  Again this summer,  Sallie Dotger has made it possible for our youth to participate in Meals on Wheels deliveries.  From Monday, July 10th through August 14th, two adults from the church will take two young people on a MOW route. For details, call Sallie Dotger or the church office.
3. Gracious Greens.  The garden is producing, and we need harvesters! Gathering times vary, so call the church or click here to sign up for email notifications.
