2017 IAFP Summer CME Getaway
IAFP Summer CME Weekend Getaway in Lake Okoboji is BACK for 2017!

Join us June 15-17, 2017 at Bridges Bay Resort in Okoboji for the 2017 Summer Meeting

The Summer CME Weekend Getaway was a long standing tradition at the IAFP and after more than a decade away we were thrilled to be bring the beloved Okoboji meeting back in 2016 to the excitement of our members. After the success of last year's meeting, we thought why not do it again? So we are heading back to Okoboji in 2017 for all the fun, sun, education, and socialization this event is known for! This meeting is truly a family affair where there will be plenty of time for you to relax, explore and enjoy all the area has to offer. We will offer three, half-day CME sessions during this weekend beginning at 12:30 on Thursday and from 8:00 to 1:00 on Friday and Saturday. We are excited to return to Bridges Bay Resort for the 2017 meeting!

 Survey-Help Needed
Dear Health Care Provider,
You are being invited to participate in a survey to assess provider knowledge and training needs related to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). The results of this survey will be used to develop webinars and in-person trainings to build state-wide capacity in LARC (IUDs and implants) provision to women seeking this contraceptive method.

This survey is being conducted by the Iowa Department of Public Health in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Human Services, with support from the Centers for Medicaid and CHIP Services initiative to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.
The survey includes questions about your knowledge and current practice related to LARCs, as well as your interest in education and training on this topic. The survey also includes questions about barriers to LARC in your work setting.  The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete, and will be open until May 15th, 2017.
We thank you in advance, and appreciate your participation in this important work.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact Debbie Kane at:  [email protected] or 515-281-4952
