Students at Redland Middle School are learning by doing, and helping the wider community.

Students Discover Lunch is an Opportunity to Feed More, Waste Less
Redland Middle School students were placing unopened, unwanted food on a "share table," but when the school noticed perfectly good produce, wrapped sandwiches, and milk that students left behind, they partnered with CFR to make sure the food didn't end up in a landfill. Since January, the school has provided 40 pounds of food each week
to Watkins Mill House, a transitional housing program for women run by
Interfaith Works.
CFR is excited to explore similar opportunities with public and private schools across the county.
